Hello All, i am new to the boat world and purchased a 1987 Blue Fin S170 with a Force 50 outboard. I seem to be running to a few issues every time I take it out about 3 times now. Likely due to being sat for years.
The main issue right now is when I go into reverse. It won't lock causing the motor to jump. The prior time I took it out before this happened made a loud noise when I put the boat in reverse.
I have seen the parts online and can't seem to figure out what im missing. I have the reverse link with the little bolt that is in what I believe is the reverse lock plate. There are no other parts I see on my motor don't know what I need.
Does anyone have a 1987 Force 50 that can share a photo of the complete assembled reverse lock on your outboard?
