1987 Evinrude xp 150 V6

I bought this boat 1987 Ranger with a Evinrude 150 xp on it about a week ago. I took it out to the water just to start it today. It started a few times but wouldn't stay running and when it would run the idle was really ruff and then it would stall. The guy I bought it from said he only used one time last year and it has new plugs and was winterized. Any help please

What should the compression be

No more than 15 psi difference between the cylinders. According to OMC Service Manual.

Use a " known to be good " gauge and post the numbers.
