I bought this motor last year because the motor I had did not have power trim. But it turns out that the trim on this one isn't working now. When I bought it the guy told me that it did drift down some when not in use. He said something about a rebuild kit for the valve body? Could someone point me in the right direction for that. And then secondly the trim itself all of a sudden quit working. It would run down but I could not get it to go up. I ended up unhooking it so I could get the motor up and brought the boat home last year. I was told that it might be the celinoid for the trim? I have no idea where this is located. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I need to get this working so I can either enjoy it myself this year or sell the rig.
