howdy guys today took the boat

howdy guys today took the boat out.running wide open for about 20 min and lost the tell tail.the motor coughed a couple of times and i shut it down. waited about 5 min. and fired off again had a great tell tail in about 10 min. it went slowly away again took tke boat back to the house and found the nylon fitting in the power head was cracked replaced with brass . also i found some water in the lower case is this also a water pump problem as well thanks for the help

Maybe just the result of reusing the washers on the drain and level screws, maybe the prop-shaft seals, which are easily damaged by fishing line, maybe the vertical drive shaft seals.

If you have to renew the drive shaft seals renew the pump impeller at the same time</font>"
 
NO I HAD WATER IN THE ENGINE C

NO I HAD WATER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT I THINK FROM THIS FITTING FROM THE POWER HEAD LEAKING BECAUSE THE FITTING WAS CRACKED I AM JUST WORRIED ABOUT THE TELL TAIL STREAM WHY IT IS STRONG THEN SLOWLY FADES AWAY
 
i would say water pump for sur

i would say water pump for sure but you might as wellnchange the themostats also........ i would go ahead with the complete wp not just the impeller
