I just replaced my stator with

I just replaced my stator with a new CDI stator.. The old stator was leaking from one of the coils.. Is it a good idea to replace the power packs too...Could the old leaking stator damage the old power packs ???

Unless you are having other problems your power packs should be OK.

"Having the stator's large black coil(s) melt down creates a voltage drop to the powerpack(s) capacitors which in turn would result in weak ignition, missfiring, etc. The new stator would cure that problem resulting in the powerpack(s) performance returning to normal.

Bottom line.... The powerpack(s) should be okay as stated by IBNFISHING above."
