"if i dont use champion plugs, what other brands and types of plugs are superior? I already have the new wire sets, and I am going to need new cap and rotors. Please give me advice on what u think I should use. As always , a thank you to whoever helps me."

"Hey Bob - almost all brands offer various levels of (good/better/best) of their plugs.....and I'd imagine most brand's "better" level plug will probably be as good, if not better, than the Champion's spec'ed in '87.

You're best bet may be to bring your temp specs to an auto parts store and have them tell you the good/better/best options.....and decide from there.

I tend to use Bosch plugs in most of my stuff (boat included). They cost about the same as comperable plugs and I'm satisfied with the fact that they're the OEM plug for manufactures like BMW, etc."
 
Chrysler were MADE to use Cham

Chrysler were MADE to use Champion....Always have and always will....it's that simple. RN14YC are recommended most.

"I use whatever is on sale, usually Autolites. Doesn't really matter as I change them every year and they never show much wear.
