"I just got this motor it sit up 3 or 5 years I cleaned carbs and it cranks right up, but it will start idling real fast by itself i tried adjusting idle but its like you are giving it the gas and idles up by itself and when you race it up sometimes it dont want to idle back down, sometimes it will idle right for a short time.I dont know if something electrical could do this or if it has to be in carbs. I would appreciate some advise."

"re-ck,.ur link and sync,..linkage and synchronization,...particularly,making sure ALL carb butterflies are closed,at the same time,and r exactly wide open,together,...get the cam off the carb roller before cking."
 
"also,make sure the timer base

"also,make sure the timer base under flywheel,moves exactly,and returns with,..the throttle arm,..i use wd40 on the bottom of timer base to help w/a sticking or sluggish problem."
