1987 225 hp Johnson VRO

Checked the pump today to determine if it was a 1987 pump and it does not appear to be. It has a plastic tag that says ,alcohol resistant. Also it has the metal bracket with the torx screws holding it in place. Can anyone take a guess as to what year the pump might be ?

If you're referring to the metal bracket holding the pulse and fuel output nipple on, it's probably 1998 or newer. That is the latest version of the pump.
