You could go to a 4 barrel carb. Check with speed shops for a high performance intake manifold. After that you start getting into big bucks in which case you might be better off getting a bigger engine that'll bolt in.

" there's no 4 barrel to fit that manifold, and the engine can't process any more fuel anyways. the stock cam is as radical as you can go with a pushrod engine running 5,000 rpm. this is a very common question as Bayliner made so many cuddy cabins and such with 3.0's... there's no solution unfortunately. tune it up and lighten your load as much as possible.

someone makes a turbo... but that's crazy $ and just silly as far as I'm concerned. repower before doing that. "
