1986 mercury

I have a 1986 75hp 2 stroke mercury outboard and it keeps flooding out? Just bought it and was suppose to have had carb and new fuel lines done.

Sounds like whoever "did the carbs" did not set the floats correctly or fiddled with the needle valves/seats without replacing them at all or properly.

Private sale or from a dealer?? If it's the latter I would take it back and start yelling

Are you sure it is flooding out ? -Does the primer bulb go hard when you squeeze it ?------------Have you checked / inspected / tried to bypass the enricher unit ??
