"Hello to all.I have a 1986 40hp 2 cylinder,2 stroke outboard motor.I took it up my local river for a fish the second time out and it stalled at almost full throttle.Then wouldnt start again.So i got a tow back to the ramp.Ive since worked out that i put a ratio of fuel/oil mix at 100 to 1,when it should have been 50 to 1.When i got it home it managed to crank over reluctantly,but eventually cranked over with a bit of a rough idle that wasnt there before.Have i done anything sinister to my motor? Thanks for any help."
