There is no safety switch 'shutting down'. The low oil alarm is just an indicator/reminder and does nothing to the engine. The NO OIL sets off the rpm limiter, but does not shut down the engine. Learn the different alarm signals.
Temp: Constant (SLOW)
No Oil: Short every 3-5 sec (SLOW)
Low Ol: Short every 30 sec."
