Hi Guys, been a little while, that time of the year again. Want to change my impeller,or at least look at it. I changed the outdrive myself last spring and all was well for the season. A little PM is what I'm asking for. Anyone change one of these?,if so could you give a couple details please.Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks homerl

Use a Merc. impeller and not Sierra or wong ho brand. Some people will tell you to pull the drive to do it...not necessary. Two nuts and bolts on each side of the LU and one above the trim fin. Place the drive in forward and remove the key from the ignition. Remove the rim fin and bolt inside above it. Loosen the 4 nuts 1/2 way on the side and loosen the LU. The remove the 4 nuts. Reinstall them the same way removed. Go to youtube and search for Alpha 1 water impeller replacement for a video.
