"Guys,I need your opinon onn the size prop to run i have a 13 1/2 x15 pich ow and it gets out of the hole quick and on plain but my top end speed is 30-32 mph @ 5400 rpms. what do ya'll think? I what to try and get more top end. thanks for reading joe"

"Joseph, your set-up looks pretty good. You are inside your WOT range and probably at your top speed.

In fact, if you were looking to change anything I would recommend you dropping down in pitch to get your rpms up another 3-400 at max throttle (and possibly losing 2-3 mph in the process).

Any increase in speed could only occur now from an increase in pitch - but you don't want to drop your RPM's below 5000, which a 17 pitch may well do.

Bottom line, if you want more "top end" get a bigger motor..."
