My 1986 40HP outboard runs great for several minutes then shuts down like its being starved for fuel. After shutting down if wont turn over at all for a few minutes then eventually turns over and starts but runs very poorly. There is no water in the fuel, it has new fuel lines and the carbs have been cleaned. I feel like this is an electrical issue, something breaking down after running a few minutes. Any thoughts?
