1986 30hp Evinrude oil upper oil seal, One or Two seals

I'm changing the water pump on my 30hp, not sure if it has ever been changed before. Figured I would do drive shaft oil seal while I was at it.
It looks like there are 2 seals there one facing in and one facing out. It looks like in the book that there is only one but I saw it said 2 required.

Thanks guys. it is clear in the diagram you posted. The first one I ordered arrived today have to wait on the second one now.
