1986 25HP Mariner model number idenification help

I bought a 1986 25 hp mariner yesterday and I am having problems finding parts. All of the parts websites want the ser. number and then pop up no items found for that number. The title and vin tag both have ser number A912349 and I found the numbers C237883 on a freeze plug on the side of the engine case. any help would be appreciated.

depends if its a Mercury Mariner or a Yamaha made Mariner.if it was a Yamaha the number would be something like 695 S 027918,if its Mercury,it would be OA912349,like youve got,as OA912349 puts it at 1986 25hp
