Would some one have a picture

Would some one have a picture of how the shifter cable hooks up behind the motor.The last owner took it apart and did not tell me. But then he did not tell me about the water pump and the O well I am sure you get the drift.

Thank you Whit the ones robert sent and this one I could get 1 more thing fixed. But the list is a long one and getting longer.
If I could only find the fellow that sold me the boat " O it is in great shape " YA RIGHT.

"Frank, boy do I know the feeling. My 85 wellcraft was a "runs great, just one soft spot in the floor". Here is my list so far:

Replaced broken hatch hinges in cuddy.
replaced entire floor
replaced transom
rewired electrical (radios, lights,horn, etc)
repaired screw punched thru the bottom of the boat
replaced trailer lights
replaced points, rotor, ignition coil
overhauled lower unit
replaced starter
replaired alternator
replaced fuel sender
replaced trailer winch
new carpet
rebuilt fiberglass engine cover
I still have an issue with the engine quitting after it gets hot. Next is to rebuild the carb. but I feel like I am just guessing now."

"Rob, how are the stringers in that boat? I would take a look at the lag bolts holding the motor mounts down and see if they are backing out or loose. I wonder with all the other problems you're having, if the stringers have water in them or dry rot. I had this problem on mine and had to redo the front motor mounts. Major PITA!"

This winters activity if I can

This winters activity if I can fix the engine. I will probably have to pull the floor back up to do so. Stringers are good. Motor mounts look as though they need some attention. I am strongly considering a composite like seacast. It worked great on the transom.
