1985 johnson 14o hp. (J140TLCo) VRO pump

I have a bad vro pump it is leaking fuel from fuel pump housing. the oil side has been disconnected and I premix the fuel. Is there a none vro fuel pump that I can install in place of the VRO pump... Or am I stuck with the high dollar VRO pump.

There is a fuel only pump you can purchase to replace the vro. It is not cheap either.
