"HI,JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF I W

"HI,JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF I WAS MISSING SOMETHING. THE DISTRIBUTER IS TURNING. I REPLACED THE CAP, ROTER, POINTS AND CONDENSER, WIRES AND PLUGS . I STILL DONT GET ANY SPARK. MY BOOK SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT A SHIFT CUT OFF SWITCH. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE THIS IS LOCATED. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS CHIP"

Key in "run " position ,is there power at the + side of the coil.commonly called the "shift interupter" the roller should be centerred in the "V" notch.It`s located where the 2 shifing cables connect"

also i pulled all the plug wir

also i pulled all the plug wires. i found that 2 wires have spark the other 2 are dead. any ideas thank you. chip
 
"bad spark plug wire, substitu

"bad spark plug wire, substitute a so called bad wire in the one that had spark, if it now works , cap or cam lobe worn and not opening the points.
There should be no voltage reading there because its hooked to the neg side of the coil.
With the key in the run position , there should be power on the purple wire."
