hi,could anyone please tell me how you go about manually lifting the engine.the seal has leaked my power tilt dry and i have no lift.i need to have the engine up then tackle the stuffed seal problem any advice appreciated.also what hyrdraulic oil is needed to fill and hopefully get enough tilt to raise the motor up and out of the way.cheers.

There is a screw on the side for manual release.---------Open it a few turns ( no more ) and you will be able to raise the motor.

should be on the starboard side. visible thru a hole in side.

Get a good quality screwdriver that fits the release perfectly. If it has not been turned in a long time you will have to fight it a little. If you use a driver that is too small you will damage the screw.
