I was wondering if someone could help me. I want to replace a chewed up prop on my yamaha outboard but am having a huge problem finding the right prop. The numbers on the prop are 9 1/4 x 9-D. Everytime I do a search for this prop the picture shown has a prop with splines and mine is just a straight bushing through it with a cross on one end. the cross is where the shear pin sits in, which goes through the drive shaft on the leg. Is it posible that I am totally out of luck with a new prop? Is there a conversion kit that I can buy to put on my shaft so that a new prop can be used? Any help with this would be extremely greatful.
