I have replaced fuel pump and rebuilt carbs, got new spark plugs and coils but when I put the throttle all the way it 's not getting enough gas to give it full speed. There's no carb adjustment on this motor but somebody told me I could adjust the float needles to allow more gas to get in but it didn't work. Any advise??

Common story ( new fuel pump and rebuilt carburetors ) and the motor " still runs the same "-------------------This time start with a compression test and then a check to see if there is spark that will jump a gap of 7/16" on each cylinder.-----------Telling me there is " good spark " is not what I would look for.--Post your results of these " no cost " tests.

thanks raceone, had the spark plugs checked and had a compression check both were good. At high speed pushed in the choak and it was trying to accelerate but just wasn't getting enough gas still.

The question was---will the spark jump a gap of 7/16" ----yes or no.----------------If operation of the fuel injection primer improves the operation of the motor than I would say you still need to clean carburetors.------------------Has someone checked the reed valves and the crankcase seal rings ??
