Hey Gents- My 1985 115 hp john

Hey Gents- My 1985 115 hp johnson is not making spark in one cyl so I think it needs a coil? There are 2 coils on each side and each set of 2coils is linked to each other with wires and goes to a plug which plugs into another plug so Im assuming that a set would have to be bought-am I right? and where could I buy it? I cant seem to find it/them in the catalog. Thanks-don

You really need to be more certain that the coil is defective than "I think" Look at the possibility of swapping them around to make sure.

A choice of alternatives are available from Marine Engine from several manufacturers at a variety of prices from $33.60 downwards

a loose wire etc,try as vic suggested swap one
with a good one ,using a spark jump tester it should jump 7/16 of an inch strong blue arc."
