By process of elimination I have determined that that lack of spark to two cyliners is a bad igniton module. Can someone tell me where this module is located. I pulled the flywheel and of course found that it wasn't there. thx

"they design engines to last five years,(electronics)are porposley engineered to fail.
i wonder how maney running hours some of these things are built for."

"I think the statements need a bit of modification.
They are designed for lasting at least 5 years.
You want it to last longer, maintenance is the solution. For electronics -keep grounds clean, batteries in order, follow set specifications when it comes to loads and out-put etc.
Powerpacks mainly blows due to 'outside' reasons like bad grounds, defective/wrong spark-plugs, 'jumping' sparks to primary leads, overheat of engine etc. Stator melts and runs too hot due to too high output (Big batteries??) on the charge side....
there are no reasons that they may not run for thousands of hours. Lifetime is very much up to the user."
