"Our DT115 has been sitting 2

"Our DT115 has been sitting 2 years. Changed impeller,sparkplugs, oil & fuel hoses and rebuilt carbs. Engine runs ok but low rpm-speed at full power. Pulled plugs and checked compression. all 120 or better. found 3&4 plugs have milky water looking stuff. Could be water? #2 sparkplug is clean like never been used. Read where to swap with a dirty plug to verify water leakage. After running the dirty plug looked cleaner. What other checks should I do? Please help!!!!!! Thanks Brad"

"You don't say if it has been running on the water or on muffs, if it runs Ok on muffs and problem re-occurs on the water, you may have a shot lower crank seal...this is how my DT115 died.

If comps are OK you may have corrosion issues in the block. Water is getting in somewhere though."

I want to thank everyone for there help. My local mechanic mentioned the exhaust cover gasket blown. It was blown. I have replaced it and I will let you know how it went. Broke off 6 bolts , but not bad to repair. Thanks Brad"

"Ok.Tried again! No water leaks in cylinders. Still low power and no change. #2 sparkplug looks new from box. Nothing on plug, like it is not firing. It fires when turned over and plugs out. Could it be a broken reed. I am doing the CDI box test now. Please let me know what ya'll think. I am getting frustrated!!!!!!!!! Thanks Brad"
