The reason there is no aftermarket alternator is becuase the model I have with electirc start was built by Yamaha and Mariner just put the cowling on it. It was beofore Mariner began building there own IT ALREADY HAS AN ALTERNATOR!!!! YEEEEEAH!! I am covered.
Rebuilt it runs like a sewing machine and does not use much gas.
