" Hello this is my first post, I recently bought a champion 185 with a 150 johnson outboard and i found a black tube which emerges from the motor at about the waterline and runs up the motor into the cowling, its combined into the main loom heading forward and attaches to the speedo, it appears to be broken off from something which mounts to the lower unit somehow, other boats ive had the speed sensor is on the hull somewhere, is this an after market piece or can i get the kit to fix it somewhere? thanks in advance, PMH "
