start on high idle on warm up

start on high idle on warm up lever
take off high idle get half way down on warm up lever and it dies

here's what I've done so far --- replaced:
CDI box
ignition coils
new rings and head gasket
diaphragms in the fuel pump
carb kits
new plugs

hard to start after it dies
have to put gas in the carbs to make it start

any other ideas?!

set float levels at 16.5 mm
wouldn't start
had to squirt gas in the carbs to get it started
on high idle and take off high idle and it dies
cannot get it started again

seems to be a lot of oil and gas mix in the tank
through the exhaust

don't have the intake on the carbs when I am doing this

Does that make a difference?

still having same problem engi

still having same problem engine starts on warm up lever all the way up coming down on warm up engine dies

floats are set at 16.5 mm

could it be a timing problem?

if I can't get it to idle I don't know how I'm going to be able to time it

don't have any idea how many rpm's
no tach

spark plugs are dry when I take them out but they are dark

any ideas? outside of a stick of dynamite?

as far as lining up mag mark a

as far as lining up mag mark and lining up spark adavance lever with oil seal housing mark (yes) then by manual they want it timed at idle or 650-750 rpm's lowest speed that's where I'm at.to me acts like fuel but new carb kits and new floats did'nt want to start second guessing myself.

the manual say's throttle

the manual say's throttle valve is in full open when control lever is all the way forward do they mean the butterfly is at a 90 degree angle? or is it less? the bottom carb looks like it is open more than top carb at closed position.
