1984 90 hp johnson

Just purchased a used boat and it has no batteries. will a 625 cca starting battery be enough to turn over a 90 HP I have an old car side post battery I tried to jump with but it barely turns over.

Well got it turning over. Tried to prime it and had leaking fuel line, replaced that and it still does not try to start. sprayed one shot of carb cleaner in intake and she fired right up. Guess I will be cleaning carbs tomorrow, this boat was last used about 8 years ago. been inside a garage. hope that cleaning carbs helps. any other suggestions?

got the carbs back on and pumped the fuel bulb and noticed a drip out of the bottom carb. Fired it up and it started right up with idle lever up.pushed the key and the choke is working. lowered the idle lever and it idled good, throws out lots of water thru the tube on back of the motor. Now to get a few more items,bilge pump, fix horn and I am ready to water test at the lake. After I ran it and pumped the bulb it got hard and no drips. not sure what that was.
