In 1984 VRO was introduced on the V4s but not the 3cyl until a few years later. I have a VRO2 running mixed gas with the oil side blocked. I have multiple stators and CDIs from later model 3 cylinder models that have the proper wiring for the VRO2. Can I simply put in a more modern stator and cdi to hook everything up properly?
I know there used to be a wiring harness adapter for the upgrade p/n 176709 but it's no longer available.
