1984 65 hp commercial model tilt problem

Hi, new to the forum, my problem is my tilt is a bear to raise, it's manual, has been since day one,up or down, creaks and groans more than me, anyone else have this problem or have any recommendations, thanks Scott

Power trim / tilt units are easy to find for a motor like that.

It's not power trim now, would a power trim unit bolt in there ?

Yes -----it would and very simple in my opinion.

Hopefully the bolts don't snap off on me. Where is my best bet for aftermarket parts ?
