1984 4140 Pleasurecraft

Hello, I am restoring a 1984 17' Shamrock. It has a 4140 Pleasurecraft Mitsubishi motor. I need an oil pan for this motor and I am wondering if it is the same as a car motor. What is the equivalent motor in a car and would the oil pan be the same? Thanks
