"I have searched the archives
"I have searched the archives and discoved there have been a fair number of folks with carb issues for this motor. I have concluded that I need to replace the gaskets and fuel pump diaphram but my problems seems to be that the valve inlet pin is getting stuck in place and not allowing more fuel to enter the float bowl. Is this related to the gasket issue or is it a separate beast? The pin seems to be made of a rubber compound at its conical end and I am wondering if the addition of ethanol to fuel (at least here in Canada) is degrading the rubber and making it sticky, at the same time as prematurely breaking down the gaskets and diaphrams. Any comments?
Thanks"
