I have no idea of compression all I know is the guy that helped me get it going said it had good compression but he doesn't know why it's running rough and yes I did do a spark test the spark seemed fine but the guy has no idea of why it's hard to start/running roughWhat is your compression? Have you done an actual spark test?

Ok I will do the spark and compression test I thought it was a 1984 because at the end of The serial number it had number 84 thanks for The help I am new at the boat motors, I will try that.
