Getting no fire, either side. 2 days ago in cranked and ran. Does this off an on. I have checked all the ground wires that I could find.

Could the stator be going out? How can I check it? What voltage should I get? What wires? (I need a wiring diagram). What tools are needed to take the flywheel off?

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I would start with the key switch, harness, or battery terminals if you have a circuit breaker at the battery replace it or even the kill switch at the control box if your model has one.

Ultimately it would be an electrical fault, if you are not familiar with them I would take it to a local shop and have them check it out, they will have a test harness that they could plug in to the motor to verify the issue.

Thanks for the tips. I had already tried bypassing the control box. That is why I was thinking stator.

Are there any special tools I need to remove the flywheel? I don't see the bolt holes for a puller. (I normally work on Johnson/Evinrude.)

I appreciate the help!
