1983 Merc Carb replacement ?

Hello all,

As the title suggests, I'm in need of some advice for where to find a new carb or aftermarket replacement that will work. No luck at the dealers, its just too old of a part to carry anymore.

1983 25hp 2 cyl.
carb is a BC1C

any help would be greatly appreciated!

There's a small crack in my bowl and gas started to come out, sparking a bit of a fire under the cowl... exciting to say the least while motoring down my favorite lake. I've looked into pricing for just the bowl and a whole new assembly. None are available.

Ebay doesn't have anything that I could find. I was hoping that maybe someone has been down this road before and could recommend a non-OEM replacement.
