I have a 35 hp Evenrude that starts great runs great at high speed ! But when I slow down it starts to die out and run bad ! If it stalls out it won't start up right away, It seems to fuild and I have to wait awhile before it will start up again! I tried changing the plugs and even all new gas but it does the same thing! I sure could use some help or info. Thanks

Thanks, I'm a little scared to start messing with the carb. I have a book on the motor and I adjusted the Idle valve it help but it still boggs down when I try putting it in gear! All the boat stores are two weeks out before they can look at it! And I was hoping to go to lake this week. Wish I knew more about outboards. Thanks Again.

Ok, then I will will try cleaning and checking things out on the carburetor! Thanks for your time! I will let you know how it does.

When you clean that simple carb,Look in the throat on the topside you'll see three tiny holes Those are the lowspeed fuel supply,If you get a kit for the carb it comes with a welch plug, which is the top plug straight back from the lowspeed needle on top of carb. With a kit it should be removed cleaned and the new welch plug installed. If your weary about that plug, make sure you use some carb cleaner in a aerosol can, use the tube and blow the cleaner in those holes multiple times./The problem you have is most likly at that lowspeed orfices.Or it could be the lowspeed needle setting off a bit. Goodluck EASY CARB!
