"Hey there, I have recently aquired a boat with a 1983 DT140 Suzuki. It has aprox. 30 hrs on it and I know it was well taken care of, on account of it was my dads. Long story short it has been sitting idle for 13 yrs and looks to be in excellent cond. I am new to the world of outboards but love homework and have certainly been doing it. Any suggestions out there on what important measures I should take. Is it even worth it? I run a machine shop so I'm mechanically inclined and am up to the challenge. Thanks in advance."
