1983 90hp johnson add tilt/trim

i have a 1983 90 hp would like to add tilt trim but not sure what years and models i can add from. looks as though i can swap unit from one to another. looking for a little guidance.

All the units from say 1980 to late 89 ( 3 / 4 / 6 cylinder ) are the same

have an 89 70 hp but all looks different dimensions . might i need to change steering unit also for all to fit. thanks for your help.

These units are interchangeable motor to motor !------------Nothing else needs to be done.-------------------Look on -----------------shop.evinrude.com -------------for more info and part #'s
