I’ve had this boat for yrs used it very little 6 or 8 times a season, last 2 yrs ago it started running a little ruff, I raced the fuel pump, reed valves started it in the driveway with muffs and it seemed ok.
Now I might have to move and wanted to jet things in order, checked trailer lights, bearings, nav lights, anchor light, All needed work because of corrosion then I cleaned the gas tanks and went to start it and found my starter was bad so I replaced it and tried again to start it and no spark on all three cylinders
Checking my book it tells me I need special equipment to diagnos the elec components can anyone help me

forgot to add that I have checked the ignition switch, it’s ok static timing is at top dead center, pulled the Sigurd wire off the switch and still no spark

"Sigurd" what's that?
Depending on the boat, some came with a kill switch on the dash. Just setting that switch can go bad.
All three, no spark, usually means the stator is bad.

The stator can be tested with a regular sweep/analog test meter.
No fire on any cylinder: 1. Check the resistance from each blue to the yellow wires, you should read approximately 300 ohms. 2. Check the resistance from each blue and yellow wires to engine ground, you should read open circuit (Just like the leads were not touching anything).

I guess I need to proof read better I was trying to say I pulled the white wire (kill switch) off the ignition switch and still no apart

Ok I’ve taken the stator and trigger off using my cheap multi tester from the stator I get no readings from blue to yellow or blue to blue or any reading to ground, I do get it to peg when going green to green. I happen to have an extra from a parts motor I picked up and get the same readings from that one
From the trigger with my meter set at rx1 ohm I get from orange to green 45 on both sets nothing from green to green and nothing on orange to orange. From red to white with green stripe I get 50
So I guess both my stators are bad
Can anyone help me find a new one with the stock plug ends not the type that go to a buss bar

A bad testing stator can be good and vice-versa.
I'd try it and see if that makes a difference.
Trigger, EXTREMELY rare that all plugs loose fire, one maybe even 2 but not all 3

will the meter I have pictured above work, I find it hard to believe that both CDI”s have gone out at the same time but also wonder if I could have two stators get the same readings, still tend to think the stator is to blame but it’s not a cheap tpart to replace just to find out that’s not the problem and I can’t seem to find a stock stator with the round plugs like mine I only see ones with single wire connections and I hate to cut into my wiring if that’s not the problem

That meter will do the basic readings.
Try the second stator, it might work??
Your "stock" stator is the older one used before 1987/88
After 87 they went to the screw down connectors as the screws make a better connection.
