1982 Evinrude throttle linkage help

Hello, I have a 1982 Evinrude 115 hp that I’m fixing up. The boat works okay, it sputters in mid range rpm and the control box will sometimes lock out reverse and not start. The main problem I have now is I removed the carbs to clean them and now upon reassembly I can’t get the throttle linkage on the carbs to go back to the slide on the throttle cable. Nothing online as far as pictures or videos and I have no manual. I have attached pictures if anyone could help me figure out how this goes back together, thanks!

In your 2nd pic , the white cylindrical on linkage , there should be an arm that pushes against it to move the linkage. Mine is an 84 model 110hp Evinrude. I took some pics of mine , my remote cables aren't hooked up. I checked my Seloc manual and found nothing showing the linkage setup.

As an experienced mechanic my photographic memory doesn't work to well especially when it comes to linkage or wiring. Take lots of pics before removal. Good Luck If I come across any info I will post it here.

Just pit mine together and found the same thing. Did you figure this out? I’m having the exact same issue!

Not sure but in post#1 it looks like upper carburetor was in the wrong place.
