I have a throttle problem with my motor. I have changed the plugs and wirers and cleaned the fuel filter and cleaned the carb. When I accelerate the throttle I have a dead spot about half way and when I go past that it catches back up to speed. Any suggestions. Also rough idle.

Have you tried adjusting the fuel air mixture screw a 1/4 turn either direction? You only have 1 carburetor, so it is pretty basic to adjust. If this is not a fix then you still have a fuel delivery problem somewhere. Does the ball stay pumped up while running. Check for air leaks in the hose. When you cleaned the carb, did you removed all the jets and make sure they were spotless when reinstalled. One small spec of anything will make it run poorly.

Maybe a carb rebuild? Is your fuel screen on your tank clogged? If so, drain/clean tank, and the screen. But first, run a tight mixture of sea foam in it before you do all that. Any maybe clean out the carbs after you run sea foam through it.
