I have currently had my t/t motor rebuilt and have just re-installed it. What are the proper steps to filling the reservoir and get it running properly. I there anything I should do to I ensure a longer lasting t/t operation?

"Manually raise the engine to its upmost tilted position. Fill the reservoir to its overflowing point, then install the reservoir plug screw & "O" Ring. The unit is self bleeding. That's it.

Check and refill the reservoir to its overflowing level; if needed."

"For my two cents worth, I cleaned the T&T unit up, carefully, with a wirebrush. I primed it and put several coats of paint on it. You must be careful around the polished shafts from the cylinders, and around the seals too. Make sure the cylinder shafts stay clean. After regular use, I spray everything with WD-40. No rust or corrosion yet!"
