I am rebuilding the carbs on t

I am rebuilding the carbs on this engine. I have never done it before I have a couple of kits that have alot of pieces I dont seem to need I am assumeing this is normal? There are what I would refer to as small (dime size) freeze plugs that was sent with the kits I can see them in the carbs I have is it critical these come out for cleaning and if so how do you install the new ones. ALso any tips on this rebuild. thanks scott

"Extra arts come with the kits so that the kit will also fit other models. Never are all the parts used. Not necessary to change the core plugs unless the carbs are really bad.

To change the core plugs, carefully punch a hole in the center, then pry them out with a scribe. Use great care not to go thru too far as that would destroy the carburetor.

Installing the core plug is simply a matter of sitting them where they belong, then gently tapping the center of the dome which makes the core plug expand and seal."
