"I believe your model had the old Tillotson carb on it - Merc replaced these in 1985 (at least on that model) mostly because Tillotson was getting out of the Carb business.

If you are unable to find what you are after or jury rig a fix another option, although a little expensive is to simply convert over to the Walbro carb that replaced your model.

Although it doesn't indicate in any Merc parts manual, the Walbro's that were used on the post-85 models will fit yours (bolt up is identical) - they go for a little over 200 bucks new - so that is a "final" option...."
