"I have a 1981 japan mariner 25e I was cleaning the carb and found when the carb is upside down the float hits the top of the carb when the valve on top of the needle is depressed.The float hits the spring valve on the needle before the float is level. This is a Teikei carb. Is this normal? Does anyone know the correct settings,and what the plug gap is."
