Can't turn off the motor w

Can't turn off the motor with the key. I disconected
the main harness and jumped the startyer and there is spark. Any idea what I missed. I was doing some things with the wires by the batery.

I have the control box apart and there is no conductivity between the yel&blk wire and the solid black wire on the key switch. No mater what position the key is in.Should this be the system "kill" ground?
