1980 Johnson 55 hp

Can you please help me, I bought a 80 bass tracker with a 55 hp Johnson , It started right up and ran good but I had the muffs on it for the water to get to it and the pee hole is spurting out good. But theres also water spurting out of the front of the motor where there is a little hole by the top of the lower unit, is that normal? also it kind of looks like water is coming out by the bottom bracket that lets the motor swing .
