1980 70 hp 3cylinder

I've got a 1980 70 hp 3cyl OB Merc and I've never had any issues with it.
Just got it ready for summer fishing n it ran great in my yard with the muffs on. No issues at all. I got her out on the lake n up to about 30 mph and she bogged out on me. Could not get it to restart. It's firing but won't run. I'm assuming the fuel pump took a crap but wanted to hear what others thought as well. Any input is much appreciated.

BTW does anyone know good places to get parts for older Mercury motors like this? Thanks!
 
Sorry, the fuel pump has nothing to do with the motor starting.-------So what happens when you operate the manual pump ?-----Water pump impeller been replaced ?
 
Looked for water in the fuel ?-----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" or more ?------Compression test done ?-----Gas and oil mixed at 50:1 ?

No water, brand new plugs. Don't have comp test equipment n it just happened yesterday. The mix may be the culprit possibly but how did it last that long at 30-40 mph if that's it?
